Where We Work

Papua New Guinea’s highlands are known for producing exceptional coffee. Jiwaka, Morobe, Eastern Highlands, Chimbu, Western Highlands—these names carry weight in the industry. But we don’t work where parchment buyers post up on the roadside and export trucks roll in to haul away untraceable beans.

We go further in. To places that take days of trekking—over steep mountains, across rivers, into villages that are untouched by time and inhabited by the most incredible people you’ll meet.

It’s not a chore to work in these places. It’s a privilege. One that humbles and drives us. Because in Papua New Guinea, no two environments or cultures are the same. The country is geologically young and time hasn’t yet tamed its geography. Across each ridge and valley, everything shifts—soil, climate, language, custom. Even how people grow their food and build their lives changes with the land.

That’s what makes the coffee extraordinary. It reflects the place it comes from—not just the land, but the people, the effort and most importantly, the story. When that story is kept intact, when the coffee is allowed to carry its origin with it, what you get isn’t just unique, it’s unmatched.
